
Riverfront Art Gallery
The Riverfront Art Gallery is located on the 4th floor of the Riverfront Library, the main branch of the Yonkers Public Library. It opened in 2009.
The Riverfront Yonkers Public Library in downtown Yonkers is long the cultural center for the arts in Yonkers. The gallery exhibits contemporary, nationally and internationally acclaimed artwork.
The mission of the gallery is to present a diverse and balanced schedule of exhibits of high caliber, progressive artwork and related programs not frequently seen in Yonkers and surrounding communities, as well as arts programming related to current exhibits.
Exhibit schedule is managed by a committee that is appointed by the Gallery Curator.
Hafia Bint-Kadi

As well as being a mosaic artist, Hafia is a roster artist in the Westchester County Arts Councel and also work as a teaching artist with Citylore in Manhattan. She is interested in connections between community, history and environment and in exploring how history can shape perceptions of space. Hafia is in charge of piecing together exhibitions for the Riverfront Art Gallery that gets approved by the Board of the Riverfront Library.


Sara Rose Fasano
Gallery Assistant
Graduated with an Arts Management degree from SUNY Purchase College in May 2013, Sara strives to emmerse herself in the business aspect of the art world. Having helped run the Passage Gallery at SUNY Purchase, she is in charge of social media, marketing, press releases, the deconstruction/hanging of shows, and opening receptions in the Riverfront Art Gallery.
