Yonkers Gallery Group is a partnership between 4 downtown Yonkers Galleries to host a first Thursday of every month Gallery Hop. The Gallery Hop was founded on the principal that inclusiveness and creative collaboration will result in mutual benefit and success for each gallery. The First Thursday Gallery Hop promotes the importance of the arts as an intrinsic part of the community and encourages visitors to spend time at both local galleries and restaurants.

To stimulate and encourage the study and presentation of fine arts and the public’s interest and participation therein; To foster and support the arts in the community and to serve as a portal to the arts for residents and community members; To create opportunities for the public to encounter and explore art that they might not otherwise be exposed to and increase access to the arts in the City of Yonkers.
